SUMMER CAMPS / SUMMER PROGRAMS

TRUE KIDS ONE 2024 Summer Camps:

WHEN: There are five different one-week camps for 2024. Each runs Monday-Friday, 9am – 4pm, starting June 3, 2024.
Photo and 3D Print-Making Bootcamp, Planet Taos — Action Photography and Video, The Magic of Animation, The One-Week Film Festival, Coding Robots and Drones

WHERE: Camps begin and end at TK1 Headquarters – 125b La Posta Rd just north of Albertsons in Taos. There will be transportation provided on most days of each camp.

WHO: Students aged 10-14.

COST: Each camp is $125

SCHOLARSHIPS: We have both full and partial scholarships, as per the registration form.

  • Imagine Children's Museum is dedicated to serving the children, families, and community of Taos, New Mexico, locals and visitors alike. Imagine's mission is to provide an immersive, creative, and inspiring environment that allows children to learn, play, and grow because Imagine understands that every child is unique and has the potential to achieve great things.

Positive youth experiences can make a tremendous difference in the life of a child.

TEC’s Community Connector Program helps families find the resources, services, and opportunities their children need to thrive.

Taos Public Library now offers a private study room for single or group use (no more than 6 occupants). You can reserve the room for studying, Zoom calls, phone calls, test taking, etc. during library operating hours by calling 575-737-2590 or stopping in at the front desk.

INTERNSHIPS, JOB OPENINGS, AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH

This section is for internships, educational job openings, and scholarships for youth in Taos County. If you have an internship or employment opportunity for youth to add to this section please email us the details to: calendar@taosedcollab.org and we will add it to this section. Please also include the deadline to apply.

  • The Photo & 3D-Print Lab. This entirely student-run, entrepreneurial group meets four times a week, Tuesday-Friday afternoons from 3-6pm. Students learn how to take photographs in various situations, take portraits, and then print them on our professional printer for paying clients. Coming in October is the opportunity for students to learn how to create 3D parts for local businesses. This has already started, and there is space for 1-2 more students. Ages 14 and up.

Taos Education Collaborative is fiscally sponsored and supported by Taos Community Foundation, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that is dedicated to serving the people of Taos and western Colfax counties. Taos Community Foundation connects people, opportunities, and resources to build a more creative, caring, and thriving community.
